Behind the Scenes

🔬 Ever wondered what happens to ore samples after they leave the mine? At our lab, we take rock and break it down—literally—to uncover its economic potential.

One of the first steps in our process is composite sample preparation. We take drill core samples and carefully blend them based on lithology and grade, working with the geologists' core logs, ensuring they represent the ore body as accurately as possible. Why? Because the better the sample, the better the test results—and ultimately, the better decisions a mine can make.

Understanding an ore’s characteristics helps determine the best recovery method, whether through gravity separation, cyanidation, or other techniques.
